Dedication of Clay Portrait by Joseph Bush, featuring Chautauqua Performances by Henry Clay and Charlotte Duprey

The Oldham County History Center will celebrate its new acquisition of an oil portrait of Kentucky Statesman, Henry Clay by well-known Antebellum portrait artist, Joseph Bush.  The painting was donated by Eleanor Bingham Miller.  Eleanor and her former husband, Rowland Miller, bought Kentucky treasures, such as this portrait of Clay, to keep them in Kentucky, knowing in the future they would find an important home for each piece.
