After meeting as volunteer firefighters, Jon Fee, Brad Conrad, and Steve Cayton joined forces to open Oldham Brewing Company in March 2022. Crafting their brews on a one-barrel system in a 200-square-foot back room at Glen Oaks Country Club, the trio serves up an ever-changing selection of blondes, stouts, kolsches, and more. For some light summer sipping, try the LemMOnade Kolsch — named after WLKY meteorologist and traffic reporter Mo Rose — or the lower-AVB Tropikolsch. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and weekly trivia is every Monday at 6:15 p.m. In addition to trivia night menu offerings, which include chicken tenders, a fish sandwich, and chopped salad, Oldham Brewing also offers occasional specialty items like a beef and chorizo burger topped with pico de gallo, tortilla chips, and a chili spread.
