It’s difficult to plan the details when you are trying to put together an event in an unfamiliar place. That’s why we not only offer event space of all sizes, we offer a personal touch with our event planning assistance as well! Come meet 20 minutes from downtown Louisville and 70 minutes from Cincinnati, OH on I-71.
We love groups! Be sure to check out our Stay page if you are looking for special overnight stays such as Home Rentals that sleep up to 14 guests. Some have gorgeous outdoor event spaces for off-site receptions. During your stay, you will be close to your regional Kentucky favorites such as the Kentucky Derby Museum, Churchill Downs, Frazier History Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, the Creation Museum & Ark Encounter, and the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass without the heavy traffic and congestion of the city!

Tables and Chairs: Bradshaw-Duncan has an extensive in-house rental inventory that includes a tent, tables, chairs, linens and décor. Our pricing is at or below Louisville market pricing and we are adding new items every month. Some rentals are included in your contract based on your guest count. Amenities: We have an open concept venue with stunning views, a large patio area, and an abundance of flexible spaces to accommodate all weddings and events. All events will have access to the home including the Bradshaw Bridal Suite, Murner Styling Suite, Duncan Suite, Wakefield Game Room, great room, dining area, foyer, bourbon room, lavatories, and porches. The home has maintained its historic elements and has been updated with luxury furniture and all the necessities to complete the perfect party. We have a Catering Cottage that is separate from the main house and is equipped with prep tables and refrigerators
Uniqueness: Historic & Rustic With A Modern Flair! The Bradshaw-Duncan House sits on 36 acres of breathtaking Kentucky countryside yet is only 20 minutes from downtown Louisville. Whether you are planning a wedding, special celebration or corporate function, the Bradshaw-Duncan House provides a distinctive and historic environment that you and your guests will enjoy and remember. Amenities: This 1600 square foot replica livestock barn has a vaulted ceiling with schoolhouse-style pendant lighting and beautiful shiplap pine interior with heating and air conditioning. Audio visual components are available: surround sound with projector and screen. Alcohol permitted with use of licensed bartender.
Uniqueness: Sitting within the pastoral 22 acre Maples Park, this 4 season barn was built as a replica of the circa 1905 dairy barn that previously sat on the same location. The property was once a boutique farm and has other unique buildings and new park features. The barn interior displays a carriage once owned by the original family and historic imagery of Crestwood. A garage roll-up door allows for use of the adjacent greenhouse space for a band or refreshment table. There is a small caterer’s area with mop sink or other adjacent buildings can be used for catering for larger events. Additional parking is available adjacent to the park.

The two pavilions at CityPlace total 12,000 square feet of enclosed, climate controlled space with state-of-the-art technology, cordless microphones and free public Wi-Fi. Pavilion 1 is 5,500 square feet in size with eight large screen HDTVs and Pavilion 2 is 6,500 square feet with six large screen HDTVs. Both pavilions include broadcast capability from almost any device and streaming through ClickShare or Apple TV. Stage lighting and built-in capability to livestream events into any CityPlace facility are also available.
The outdoor Plaza at CityPlace features a 22,500 square foot “park like” setting with a water feature that runs year round and is lit at night. The beautifully manicured landscape provides the perfect setting for outdoor events with the potential to seat up to 1,300 people. The Plaza, adjacent to Pavilion 1 includes theatrical lighting on the covered porch, a built-in sound system and camera port to livestream events into any CityPlace facility.
Groups often rent the entire CityPlace campus for events such as art fairs, small conventions, festivals, concerts, day retreats, and proms. Free parking available.
Group Size: Up to 200 guests can be accommodated in two distinctively appointed event spaces for Wedding Events, Family Celebrations, as well as Networking and Business Events (Meetings, Cocktail Parties, Fundraising Galas)!
Tables and Chairs: All events are inclusive of tables and features gorgeous Fruitwood Cross-Back Chairs at Upstairs on Main and elegant “Ghost” Chiavari Chairs on the lower level at The Gallery at Gatewood.
Amenities: Both Upstairs on Main and The Gallery at Gatewood offer Event Coordination assistance, Prep Kitchens for catering and an Open Vendor Policy. Several Alcohol Packages are available to choose from. All-inclusive Décor Packages are also available. Additionally, The Gallery at Gatewood features a complimentary, built-in 8×8 BackdropWall perfect for photos or banners.
Uniqueness: Both Upstairs on Main and The Gallery at Gatewood Event Venues are located in the elegantly renovated Gatewood Building at 125 East Main St in the Historic District of La Grange. Originally constructed in 1908, the nearly 4,000 square foot building is on the National Register of Historic Places. Tons of original charm and preserved history is evident throughout the building with exposed brick walls, original tin ceiling tiles, and hardwood floors! Upstairs on Main was updated to present a 20’s Glam / Gatsby feel with beautiful chandeliers and elegant décor. It also features subtle L&N Railroad memorabilia given the significant railroad heritage in LaGrange. The Gallery at Gatewood was updated to present a European Gallery with an Urban edge. Guests are greeted with astonishing 8’ crystal chandeliers. It also showcases a growing collection of Historic memorabilia relative to both the Gatewood Building and our Community.

Uniqueness: Pewee Valley Central Park is the adjoining property complete with gazebo for small gatherings. Permanent dance floor.
Located in the historic town of Pewee Valley, KY, known as the home of the “Little Colonel”, 314 Exchange combines the reclaimed charm of an 1880’s historic property with an open 3,500 square foot floor plan and a view of Pewee Valley Central Park, with its lush garden and gazebo. The elegant venue is laid out between 2 areas: the inside accommodates seating for dinner for up to 120 people and features a large permanent dance floor and band area. While the side lawn features a new stunning ceremony structure made from a reclaimed barn for hosting any kind of outdoor event. Caterer list and packages available on our website.

Windy Meadows Event Center offers a Lexington style barn for the wedding or event of your dreams. Our barn has been featured in a Hallmark Movie, has been used in a national T.V. commercial and a multitude of events. Already have your venue but need the perfect props? The Nature Center can host 130 for a sit-down dinner and the Field House hosts 45. Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve is a 170-acre scenic and popular destination. With 9 miles of wooded trails, 4 year-round springs, creeks and ponds, picnic pavilions and native grasslands, there are many recreational opportunities for the entire family. There is a natural history museum featuring a bird blind and a toddler’s magical forest play area. The 207-year-old historic Mahan Manor and Spring House are available for tours.

Amenities: Prep Room (for caterers), grooms room, bridal room, barn had running water (sinks and bathrooms built for 400), 375 acres of surrounding farmland, massive Amish built deck. Approved catering list provided.
Uniqueness: Amish carpenters were used from the beginning to the end of this build to ensure the southern charm feel would permeate throughout the barn. The Event Center is located at the back of the historic Belknap Farm overlooking Harrods Creek hill. Polished concrete floors, roofed outdoor spaces and indoor water fountains make this space unique.
The area underneath roof is 6,700 square feet with an additional massive deck of 1,500 sq feet. The bridal room, grooms room, both bathrooms, and prep room are climate controlled. In addition, four sixty inch windmill fans were installed in the main hall to ensure plenty of air movement on the hotter summer and fall days. Water fountains were added inside the barn as well as shiny polished concrete floors! The lighting inside the barn is provided by LED hanging in mason jars suspended from the roof, and five chandeliers running down the middle. There are two things in abundance at Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center: plenty of space and the quintessential southern barn charm.
