We’ll help you plan all the details – COMPLIMENTARY with your Stay in Oldham, KY!

Located just 20 minutes from Louisville on I-71, Oldham offers the advantage of being close and convenient to popular Louisville attractions. However, staying a small town has its benefits, such as a LOW 3% hotel tax!

This is the perfect theme to plan your entire group itinerary around…our Frolic in the Fall Foliage of Oldham KY! Your guests will love our incredible fall foliage and spooktacular surprises on each mysterious stop! See breathtaking displays of fall foliage on our Ohio River farm tours or private yacht cruises on the river. Marvel at professional jack-o-lanterns that have been transformed into works of art in Louisville’s Iroquois Park. Enjoy a candlelit ghost tour of historic downtown La Grange (if you dare)!

You can’t celebrate fall in Kentucky without talking about Louisville’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular running through the month of October. Iroquois Park, which was designed by New York Central Park’s landscape architect, Frederick Olmsted, showcases a 1/3 mile section for this one-of-a-kind exhibit of 5,000 professionally carved pumpkins. Grouped in themed scenes & set to music, your group will experience artistry with well over 100 masterpieces lighting the way.

A fall group favorite for the last 5 years, our fall foliage tour of Woodland Bison Farm, offers breathtaking views of the Ohio River from atop a cliff where the buffalo roam! You have no idea how gorgeous this farm is that’s surrounded by 1,000 acres of fall foliage, the majesty of bison, fields of organic flowers, heirloom fruits & veggies served in restaurants, and art – yes, art! The owners of 21c museum hotels also own our Woodland and Hermitage Farms. The wagon ride tour is a bonus for most guests who, we find, have never ridden on a hay wagon!

Another fall favorite in Oldham, KY is a bourbon distillery tour & tasting at Kentucky Artisan Distillery! A tour of this famous craft distillery is as uncommon as the bourbons themselves! Learn the art of handcrafting fine, high-end bourbon from one of the most visited craft distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Craft Trail, including a behind-the-scenes secret tour of the lab (unheard of!)! Tastings of at least 6 bourbons…Jefferson’s bourbons (think Jefferson’s Reserve, Oceans, & Chef’s Collaboration), and Whiskey Row – a pre-prohibition-style bourbon only available in Kentucky. Popular with drinkers and non-drinkers alike, this tour offers a step inside the history of bourbon…from grain to bottle…and distilling antiques!

We know your groups love to eat, so our Oldham Fall Foliage Experience kicks it up a notch by serving a Kentucky Comfort Foods Casual Buffet dinner (the homemade Carrot Cake should not be understated!) on the deck of the distillery! They can also browse old distilling antiques collected by owner and retired Brown Foreman Exec, Steve Thompson. From the deck they’ll also enjoy the view of award-winning Yew Dell Botanical Gardens next door. *A great first-stop before checking in to your hotel after a long bus ride!

Another unique option for dinner or lunch includes Train Watching & Ghost Tours! Downtown La Grange is the only town in the WORLD with a train running ON its historic Main Street! Surrounded on both sides of the tracks by shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants – historic downtown La Grange is the perfect place to kick back, relax with a scoop of ice cream and watch trains pass just outside the shop windows! Oh course, if your group likes to shop they will LOVE this very colorful walkable, and quaint downtown with plenty of benches and tables for their outdoor viewing pleasure!

Downtown La Grange is also known for their Spirits of La Grange Ghost Tours! One of the most popular tours in the region, some say it’s the best they’ve ever taken! Combining a historical aspect to introductions to our “spirits,” you can learn all about haunted LaGrange on the two-hour candlelit walking tour.

As if those fall foliage attractions weren’t enough, we have another to add to your Fall Foliage Frolic in Oldham! You can’t come to Kentucky without a fabulous horse farm tour – and we have the best HANDS-ON tours you’ll find! Oldham is the “Farm Tour Capital of Kentucky” so we know how to do it right!

A tour of Windy Meadows is a must and will be the highlight of your fall foliage tour! You will see horses of all breeds and sizes and, yes, we let you love on them!
